So everyone believing him when he lies is much worse than no one believing him when he lies? I would think the lie is the important thing, not whether or not the recipients of the lie are duped.

I think some are here for the camaraderie here, not lingering Sox fandom. Not many but a few.

If Getz isn’t doing it on purpose … who made the trades this season? Who made the free agent signings last off season? Who signed Clevinger. Did these things happen all by themselves or did Getz have something to do with it?

The Tigers had a serious owner, serious front office, serious manager, and Justin Verlander. The White Sox would have sawed off Verlander’s arm and beat him with it if he were in their organization. Not a close comparison.

I just wish Grifol was here to be a part of it. He deserves it as much as anyone.

I know I’m in the minority but I’ve hated listening to him since long before he came to the Sox and nothing I’ve heard since he came to the Sox changed my mind. His nasally voice combined with his pompous attitude always made me hit the mute button.
