November 16, 20169 yr I could be completely wrong but I think there's a reason why National Writers haven't linked the Dodgers and Red Sox to Sale trade talks. Those are the 2 teams with the most interest. All of the rest of these are leaks for whatever reason. I have no doubt Atlanta wants Chris Sale. They don't have the pieces though. I bet it's the Dodgers unless DD ponies up.

I just can't forget what Joel Sherman said at the trade deadline about the Yankees and Chris Sale. I think they'll be in it near the end.

Just for the same reason as you mentioned...I am sure every team in the MLB wants Chris Sale...but only a few teams have the currency to get him, and those that do are well-aware of that. Leaked interest shouldn't really phase them.
