They are counting guys who basically played for the teams. Santiago, Boone Logan, even Ryan Rayburn.

Bill James Handbook 2018. I wonder if Tim's .257 batting average is one of the best all time of anybody with as many as 587 at bats and an official at bat in 97 percent of plate appearances. You draw 13 walks all season, it's very unlikely you are going to hit much higher than .257 just because of the laws of probability I'd think.
