I'm hoping for Angels or Mariners mostly because I don't think we'd have to worry about either of them in the playoffs when we start to compete.

Is Ohtani the most hyped newcomer, perhaps, ever? I don't recall there being that much intrigue in a new guy. The scouting report, the foreign media following, and the way he picks his teams, the buzz is unreal.

I'd give it to Giants/Padres over M's. Ichiro is a hard act to follow, If he wants to go to AL team M's are obvious choice though.

It's because of his situation being so unique. A top talent coming over with basicly every team having some sort of chance.

Didn't know how many connections the Padres have to Ohtani. Would be fascinating if he went there.
