Worth noting,  Engel put up a .672 OPS for May.

Well, he’s probably better than Jacob May...and, if only Brian Anderson could have averaged a 675-700 ops, we would have had ourselves a player.

He's opening up a little early still. That was actually not hit hard despite a good swing.  Good news is he seems to be getting closer to being locked in.

I liked seeing a triple and walk from the right side today.

This is all going to come together for him soon and he'll have a really big July or August. Something along those lines. IMO

He's cut down on the K's quite a bit recently as well.

Engel has busted his behind to Improve at the plate. Regardless of what someone might think about him on the big league roster you have to admire his effort

I'd rather give May another shot than keep trotting out Trayce every day. This is a joke. I feel bad for him at this point.

I mean, I'm sure I'd be fed up with May after a week too... but I don't know. Hard to keep justifying this. He's going to fall under .100 BA soon and he's an every day MLB outfielder until Avi comes back. Crazy.

Currently at the game. There's gotta be over 30,000 at the park here.

That's good. I'm sure a good chunk are Brewers fans making the quick drive down, though. No?

Which may be never :(

Are they still charging $50 a beer?

Saw the Sox in their series at Comerica last weekend. 10 dollars per beer. Just for Millers. Stuff is getting outrageous everywhere.

$10 sounds expensive for a shit hole like Detroit.

Eh. Detroit is doing a lot better nowadays. Downtown is making quite the comeback. All of the major sports arenas/stadiums share the same square mile or so. Casinos all around and big restaurant/bar scene emerging as well. Been to both Ford Field for the Bears and Comerica for the Sox. Very nice venues. A lot of money being pumped into the downtown and surrounding areas.

I pay 9.75 for a corona at guarantee rate field last year. I wanted to put the can in a frame and hang it on the wall

Yikes. Been out of Chicago for a few years. I didn't realize it had gotten like that.

You mean just at bars? 3-3.50 for a domestic bottle typically. Little more at a high-end spot, obviously. If you're talking about the Bacardi Lounge connecting to the stadium or stuff like that... It's not much different from the inside.

I forget the name of the spot walking distance from the Stadium in Bridgeport. Was only there once. Had PBR cans for 2 bucks a pop. lol
