Yep and we're a captive audience, what exactly are they gaining beyond the very few who follow the draft process? Is your average fan watching any of this? It'll never be 1/100 of football or basketball, college baseball just kinda sucks. We just suffer in the end while they try to monetize.

Part of it is also that most of these players wont be seen by the average fan for 3-4 years if at all. Unlike the other sports where they will be seen the next year.
