Yeah, Edwards, Thomas, Schnell, Roberts, McClanahan, Hankins, Lynch. There are a lot of guys I would be thrilled if they "slide" to us.

  • Nope. Nobody will ever have to hear/read greg's opinions on the pick. Who'd we take in round two?

So many good guys left on the board!!!

Sox will have plenty of power in theory.  Need guys that can defend and get on base at premium positions.  That seems like this kid.  More I think about it the more I love the pick.  They needed a big time middle infield prospect and now they got one.

Who is he going to displace, Moncada or Anderson? Most reports have him as a passable SS. I havent seen any 3B reports and most people like more power at 3B.

Kowar would be a great get if he keeps dropping. Better stuff than Singer.

Also would want to take a chance on De Sedas, but it sounds like he's gonna fall pretty far due to signability.

Add Hankins in there for me. And Kowar.

Easy to solve that solution either with a trade or position switch.  If it happens, the Sox are in a really good position -- "excess" quality infielders.

Contact ability has been his issue, would rather take Jeremiah Jackson.

Astros do the exact opposite of tanking for Beer but still got him. Rich get richer ?

Win the WS for Beer

Its  tough to trade that up the middle power. Plus Madrigal is considered a pick that is near MLB ready. No more than 2 years.

They announced Beer as an outfielder. I wonder if they are actually going to try to keep him in the outfield

Callis with why I absolutely want no part of Beer.

Why wouldn’t you in the minors?  Absolutely nothing to lose by seeing if he can be a fringe LF.

Alek Thomas here?
