Smith also got injured. But whatever drives the narrative.

  • That state of mind where a series split against a good team is headline news here we come!!

  • So Covey is our best starter and Jace the best reliever. Before the year, I would have said that wouldn't be likely....in AAA

Damn that was a throw by Abreu

My god who is this team

Fuck yeah Jose!

Abreu!!!!!

damn!  I think that Jose D thread pissed him off!

I don't claim to be the smartest mother effer when it comes to baseball...but I'm sitting here with my gal with 2 strikes on Palka and I look at her and say "watch...Bauer's going to pipe a fastball that Palka won't even swing at....".   It happens...we just look at each other and I walk away.  I will say...she thinks I'm brilliant after that exchange lol...but it really wasn't hard to call...geezus.

Here comes a certain poster to tell you that this post is stupid because hitting is hard especially when you don’t see a straight fastball coming

As I said the other day, we are alright to watch when we don't suck

Jose showing his worth...what team wants to give up a top 50 prospect for him?

That was a heads up DP by Abreu. Good throw.

I covet a Covey coven.

I do worry that Covey has been getting hit pretty hard last2 innings but screw it let him keep going.

Hats off to you Mr. Abreu. Awesome play.

Woah, calm down. You obviously missed the argument I had last night in the GT with this poster. I’m agreeing with you. What you said about Palka? I said that about Moncada yesterday and he said that’s a dumb thought because fastballs are hard to hit

Relax

Dang I just thought a seagull was a baseball and thought it was a single.

That's a real bad call by the ump

That's literally been me half the game

Which is annoying because overall I thought he’s been really good tonight.

If Covey really is something that would help expedite the whole getting good thing. And like others have already said patience is important with these guys. Their growth isn’t linear.

Sum Wrigley bums brought those gulls with them. No thanks.

Watch them take Covey out again on 80ish pitches. He might have a CG in him if Rick will just let him stay in.

Covey is completely gassed

Bullpen time.
