Happ kinda sucks.  Problem is, so does Nova.  Yankees scrubs are coming back to earth it would awesome to get a win today with Gio going tmr.

Gonna be a 4.5 hour game, fun for the fans into that sorta thing.

Now that I said this, it's going to be a 1-0 game over in 2 hours.

Luckily for everyone involved it should be a pleasant evening in NYC.  Not one of those sweat rag nights where it's humid and 90 degrees.  East coast summers kinda suck.

Dammit ill be blacked out...

I don't really mind with a lefty on the mound.  Welington should be DHing though.  There is legit no reason for Alonso to be in the lineup versus a LHP over Castillo.  Castillo has one decent talent, and that is hitting LHP.

Alonso has actually been much better vs. Lefties this year than vs. Righties.

Happ and Nova have near identical FIPs of 5.18 and 5.19

Next 15 games should be a good test for our important players. Wins are nice, but I want good fundamental baseball and if it’s only 6-9 or 7-8, that might be good enough for this team. 

Always tempting to think about this rivalry from many historic seasons in the 50's and 60's except the Yanks get some of their lowest crowds in present day Chicago.  

1964 Sox won 98 and their last nine. Yanks won 99 and their last ten.
