How many pitcher's careers are going to be ruined because of this fake ass "season?" This is such bullshit.

It's been a theme all across the Majors especially for guys coming off Tommy John.

  • That nickname seems like an effort to sanitize "Luis" of its Hispanic character and even make it sound a bit Southern. Might as well call Jose Abreu - JoBrew . Sweet Home Alabama... I'm goin

Honestly just lmao at this “pandemic”.  Vast majority of positives are asymptomatic and the overall death rate is barely more than the normal flu.  But yeah lets just stop life for the next 6 years ti

No shit. It's one of the myriad of reasons this all bullshit and a lot of people, including most fans, should be fucking ashamed of themselves.

Kopech might be a secret genius.

I remember when some were saying there was no extra risk and blah blah.

We are in trouble with Corbin Burnes.   One of their flamethrowers for the middle of the game.

He can get wild and also has issues keeping the ball in the park

We should have tagged Anderson. So many lucky hits so far.

Seems like he 100% made the right call.

Ugh, feel bad for Carlos. Looks like Kopech did the right thing. I guess it’s Detwiler? Or do they bring up Dunning or Steiver?

Do not let Keston Hiura or Yelich beat you.   That's all you need to know about their line-up.

he only strikes guys out.

He was throwing 88 in the second inning. Lambert, Otahni...now maybe Rodon, recent TJ surgery guys are going down fast

Or maybe he was just pissed because he was in pain?

Possibly, that would be a very Rodon thing to do, getting all pissed off because his arm hurts but still pitch through it.

He Gone!

Damn Foster looking much better than he did in his debut.

Foster looks sharp

What did fans do? Players literally have a union and have the right to opt out. They are choosing to play and be there; no guns held to their head.

If I was the Sox, I'd pull all my young stars and run a AAAA team out there. This season is going to be cancelled anyway.

A special shout out to ownership for dragging this out so long that an adequate spring training wasn't possible.  I wonder how they feel watch their assets get trashed with injuries that didn't need to happen?

What about this season is causing more pitching injuries than we see every year?

It's not fair to ask Dunning or Steiver to jump in that role.   They'll find SOMEONE.   Likely will be Detwiler, I would guess they would even use that Anderson kid they got from the Phillies before last season who's mostly a bullpen guy.

Yelich snapped an 0 for 19 skid, btw.

Thanks Ray! I was thinking the exact same thing.

They had about half the time they would normally have to ramp up their arms. Not a recipe for health early in a season going 100%.
