  • That nickname seems like an effort to sanitize "Luis" of its Hispanic character and even make it sound a bit Southern. Might as well call Jose Abreu - JoBrew . Sweet Home Alabama... I'm goin

Honestly just lmao at this “pandemic”.  Vast majority of positives are asymptomatic and the overall death rate is barely more than the normal flu.  But yeah lets just stop life for the next 6 years ti

It's driving me insane, bizarre acoustics in an empty stadium

It sounds like the vuvuzelas from the World Cup.

Avi can only hit against the Sox

Sooo close. Took Yelich at +430 and Avi at +500 to hit a HR. Missed the first by like 5 feet and the Brewers scored anyway.

He's throwing trash

Of course Rodon gives up Avi's first RBI on the season.   Who'd a thunk it.

88 MPH.  Whatever that was, it was high and out over the plate.

Rodon's velocity is down.

3 fastballs to Garcia - 89, 89 and 88

That was an 88 mph fastball. Where's the 96 he was pumping his last time vs the Brewers?

Completely unnecessary run right here. Two horrible pitches

WE NEED PITCHING (STILL).

If his velocity stays down put a fork in him

Gyorko missed another hanger

Zero reason to put one of your weaker offensive threats at the top of this lineup and I really don't think Madrigal's game will translate to a high OBP.

I honestly think he’ll have a decently high OBP, but just bat him 9th and he basically bats in front them four times a game.

He's waiting to throw 94-98 in the 5th or 6th inning, when he's already out of the game.

Avi first RBI of course

Rodon is really tough to watch. When he fell to #3 and the Sox drafted him, I thought they got the steal of the previous 5 drafts. Instead he's been consistently hurt and even when healthy he's been a pain in the ass to cheer for.

He can live if he throws it at 92-93, but not at 88-89.

He was sitting 93-94 and topping at 96 2 weeks ago. Where'd it go?

Did anyone else watch the exhibition vs the Brewers?

You guys kill me making fun of Avi. Offensively or defensively, we haven't had a right fielder close to as good as Avi since he left. And we won't have one this year either.

He's basically Jim Parque, basically butter/toast/virtually any margarine/oleo commercial.

Yup. Carlos needs to figure it out fast.

Either that gun is way off...or something is waaay off. Regardless...why he wasn't throwing slider down and away to Yelich and down and in to Garcia was criminal. Not a fan of the pitch selection.

If the new Rodon is sitting at 90mph its probably over for him.
