  • I had to log on just to say that that was one of the dumbest, most infuriating things I've ever seen a baseball team do, fire RR, k bye

RR taking a nice nap thinking about a delicious pie

  • I'll probably watch the first 3 innings. That will tell me what kind of mindset this team is in today. I'm done watching 9 inning games where they get 2-5 hits and 0-2 runs with their SP imploding in

Steve Stone will put fans at ease by reminding us it takes 7 years to  repair a beautiful car.

It's been 15 years. That's 5,475 days without counting leap years. TIME TO FIX THE FUCKIN CAR.

Pardon my language.

Stone is in the booth but still throwing some heat.

I think it's obvious what he thinks with that statement

Absolutely, at least it's not just us armchair GMs that are feeling the same way.

Now everyone can STFU about Stone and Benetti always making excuses, always siding with the organization, etc. Stone isn't a moron. He knows a dumbass on a baseball diamond when he sees one

LOVE this from Stoney.

And it's our color commentator!!!

Steve Stone quietly/not so quietly making his move for GM???  Because he definitely doesn't want to be a field manager, not his style...not something he would be particularly well-suited for, temperamentally.    Can't imagine him being held to account answering questions post-game.   Just as prickly as Cooper.

Already beginning a lot better than Giolito's start yesterday, so there's that...quickly two down.   Looking too easy, like most of his starts in the first 3-4 innings so far.

What the hell? He isn't making a move for a front office spot. He's making a move for the front office to fire the dipshit leading the team so he can finally call meaningful games

I’m cheering for black and white.

I guess some red today.

 Not orange.

Damn, there's another shot from Stone at Renteria. Paraphrasing: "Here's Goldschmidt. He's their premier hitter. You gameplan around him. You don't let him beat you in the late innings. You pitch around him if need be."

Wow, I have a lot of respect for Stone after that comment.

Good start. Dallas is the savior of this rotation

Would have been a lot easier to just do it behind the scenes with JR/KW/RH...why use Twitter?   Is Jerry Reinsdorf so "out of the day-to-day ops" that he needs to make it even more controversial because it's the nature of social media today to blow things up or out of perspective, to the point where they can't be ignored or someone has to try to interview front office or even Jerry?

123 1st for Keuchel.

Can the offense muster any quality effort today?

Because maybe he’s also sick of the status quo that has killed this franchise

Well, I know I don't particularly like our best player hitting 7th, rookie or not...he's losing one at-bat every game down there.
