I don’t mind either there because I don’t love anderson there either, but people were UPSET about the reigning batting champion being the lead off guy over a guy who was playing well but still clearly had things to work on. 

That's fair. We can agree to disagree. Ultimately I think Robert is a #2 or #3 hitter anyway.
