He shouldn’t have dropped it, but if he didn’t and the umpire called him safe, it wouldn’t have been overturned.

it's amazing how Yolmer has almost been this 2 WAR type of guy, while being an automatic out at the plate. Amazing defense.

Thank GOD for advanced Metrics. People praised guys like jim Edmonds for years. Luis won't make a ton of diving plays and etc because his reads and jumps are like Keirmeier/Buxton/Druw and etc. Those guys make great plays but they're not highlight reels because they make hard plays look so damn easy.

Am I reading too much into his comments, or has Steve Stone been giving a lot of veiled criticisms of Ricky's slow hook for pitchers lately?
