This is my favorite win of the season.  Would have been totally acceptable and understandable to lose.  But we didn’t.  We put our foot on their necks and grabbed hold of the division even when our offense wasn’t exactly clicking.

Just give Jose the damn MVP...legging out an infield single to tie the game, unbelievable.  The man is just an RBI machine...51 in 50 games.  Yes, the man is underpaid.

Dyson had 2 hits and 2 stolen bases.  I wonder if he'll be in the starting lineup tomorrow night.

What Donaldson did was totally uncalled for and unprofessional to say the least. He should be suspended but he will probably only receive a fine for it.

If the Twins have a kangaroo court, he should get a hefty fine from his own clubhouse as well.  Extremely dumb move, especially by a veteran ball player.

Wow I'm dumbfounded that none of you guys understood why Tim looked at some pitches.

The game within the game . Dyson on 1st.  Madrigal didnt advance Dyson so 1 out.

Tim being a base stealer himself was going to take some pitches to give Dyson a chance to steal which would keep them out of the double play and put a runner in scoring position. Finally on the 4th take by Tim, Dyson stole 2nd. Tim then grounded out to the right side to advance Dyson to 3rd. Grandal walked and now you have Abreu up and he gets the infield hit to tie the game.

That was everybody doing what they do best to scavenge a run. Dyson stealing, Tim playing the team game taking pitches allowing him to steal , then hitting behind the runner to advance him. Grandal walking and Abreu bringing Dyson home. 

Just a beautiful pure baseball sequence.

Then Eloy does his thing to drive in the winning run. Just gorgeous grinding.

They are too busy blaming the ump. Of course the ump is gonna toss you when you show them up like that. The ump messes up, but this isn't new or anything. You got the home run, that is vindication enough. 

ReyLo looked pretty good until he allowed that home run in the 6th inning.  He kept the Sox in the ballgame and that is all that they needed.

Yeah he showed signs of life these last two starts. He may work as playoff relief as a 1 out already guy. I'm also excited to see Rodon or Bummer. 

 

No disrespect to Jason, but I wish Hawk was there calling that game today.  God Bless the man.  He was probably watching at home.
