A couple of weeks ago Dane went 7 IP, 3 H, 1 ER against the Twins. People seem to have short term memories and forgot that the majority of his games he has looked really good. if he is looking good he doesn't need to be removed after 1 time through the line up.

Would have been nice to have Vaughn on the roster if Eloy was unavailable this entire series.

I have a bad feeling about Olson this game. Dunning seems like the type of pitcher that he would dominate

One of the reasons I wanted Foster starting this game. Dunning is far and away the worst guy we have against lefties that is likely to pitch today.

That’s where my mind went

What other explanation is there? I’ve never seen a game, let alone a playoff game, cancelled with that type of forecast. Probably cover for a potential Covid case. Otherwise it makes no sense.

Its pretty gloomy and windy near Sox Park.  Safe to assume its similar at Wrigley.

There are a few showers in the area. Doesn’t make sense to cancel a game with a few showers. Something else must be going on.
