Not even Cishek or the food accounts have been tweeting anything lately. The hot stove is colder than Antarctica.

I am starting to think, they are all the same person.

  • I’m sorry but I don’t have an hour to read this. I read the first line and I assure you, Hendriks would be a great get.

I hope the Sox prioritize and spend the money on Bauer.

Any one with ESPN + care to let me know if the Sox get a mention?

Is it funny or is it typical the way the arenado news leaked?

I find it kinda hilarious that the rockies weren't like "we're open to trading Arenado" but instead it leaked out like "Could someone please let the Mets know to call us about Arenado"

The White Sox weren't mentioned at all

Thank you !

I am starting to wonder if a lot of these players will hold off signing until the middle of the season, like Keuchel did a few years ago, in hopes of getting a better contract later in the year when more is known about the covid and fan attendance situation.

it's possible. Tough run for them though, they just got only 1/3rd of their salary, would be looking at a smaller salary again, and then have the potential for an extended CBA work stoppage after that.

The Cheesy Beef has returned lol

Still convinced La Russa doesn't know the names of anyone on the White Sox. He literally never says anyone's name in the few pressers he's had.

I mean it isn't like he has to worry about his job status.

Not true, he mentioned Kenny Williams as his...hypothetical player.

And then he used Harold Reynolds as a hypothetical player when he was interviewed on MLB Network. Lol

To be fair, Kenny Williams was a hypothetical player.

I can't imagine to have worked as hard as those guys have to get to the point they are at right now with free agency, only to have this happen to them. How debilitating.

Cespedes today, now let's seal the deal on this and give Sox fans an awesome Christmas!

If these "food guys" have such good inside info, why didn't any of them mention this guy (Cespedes) once before news of the signing broke?

No one is denying he has sources or is legit.

Because one person might not have access to all info, especially if they only have access to certain or specific personnel?

They throw a bunch of crap at the wall + steal info from others. To be privy to all the information they spew out, they would have to be Rick Hahn. They also somehow know every other team interested in whatever player the White Sox are pursuing.

They are frauds. Even if Portillos has been correct, he throws way too much other crap at the wall that isn't correct.

Badler broke it, but James did recently mention some Sox interest in Cespedes. It was either on Twitter or on the FutureSox board, don't exactly remember which one.
