Counting down the days until he’s gone. Jerry Reinsdorf ruined my favorite  team in sports.

I've been reading this board for a while and am finishing up school so I decided to finally join. I had a good friend killed by a drunk driver, so this issue is personal for me. I see a big probl

  • I'm not quoting anyone, nor do I wish to discuss this other than to give my opinion... Tony La Russa shouldn't have been hired because there was no process...it was just Reinsdorf hiring a buddy,

Maybe we can add the clip of "I'm a Hall of Famer, brother." to the pre-game pump up video on the screen in center.

I do know someone. Me. I was hit by one and was injured. Nothing major but it was still pretty scary. Does not change the fact that most people are close to someone that does it, has not been caught, and yet they dont hold such grudge/hate towards said person.

Not sure what you mean with "But give him a pass". People, every day, are given "passes" when the court knocks a DUI down to a reckless. It's done a lot and with nobodies like you and I. Not just people w/ high status. Now, if you feel no one should be given a pass than sure. You are entitled to that opinion and I can u/s why you are upset TLR was given one.

For my part,

I am fine with TLR having a DUI being knocked down to reckless.

I am NOT fine with the same man who has the numerous problems TLR has being the the next manager of the White Sox.

There's a big difference.

I don't consider the situation resolved because he still has to face the media and there will be a showdown. His bench coach cannot cover for him. Being an old man is the least of his problems.

Are any television stations (CourtTV, MLBTV, CSN, Local Chicago Television Stations), websites (MLB / White Sox / Maricopa County Criminal Courts) or radio stations (ESPN Chicago, WSCR, WBBM, WGN) expected to broadcast the criminal court proceedings tomorrow?

And he gets to serve his day in jail as "home detention."  Classic stuff.

Counting the days until he's gone...

I hope the ban him from going to Canada

You know Yawkey and Schilling, Marge Schott and Campanis

Anson and Rocker, Griffith and Judge Landis

But do you recall, the most famous racist of all

Tony the Redneck Skipper, had another DUI

Called Jerry from his jail cell, that's when he began to cry

None of the other ball clubs, will give me a job again

Reinsdorf said we'll smear Ricky, and bring you back to make amends

On the week of Christmas Eve, Tony plead guilty

Judge said "You're legit and White, by all means drive drunk tonight"

No players or fans loved him, planned boycotts of Comiskey

Tony the Redneck Skipper, worst hire in history

Lol...so basically he gets 20 hours of community service for his second DUI.  What a fucking joke.

His community service will be him “volunteering” at a senior living center and throwing back a few cold ones with his old crew.

Smh what a joke. The manager of our team is an embarrassment.

“I know I don’t have a drinking problem” is something you just absolutely love to hear from someone with two DUIs

Glad to hear the bar has been raised so I can stop worrying about mine.

Oh, don't think some bullshit about sincerity wasn't going to be said today.

He's always straightforward,  that is probably why he admitted to this cop he had one glass of wine and admitted when they found him passed out at the wheel in FL he had 2 glasses. He's a punk ass clown.

He's a punk ass clown because he drove drunk and put lives in danger twice. We all lie to police, parents, employers, etc. when we get caught doing something wrong.

Do we have to derail every thread with TLR DUI talk?  ?

In related news Tony pled guilty to making insensitive remarks ending speculation that he is a racist.

Are you trying to say this is OK?
