WOW LOL!!!!

Kopech for 2, followed by Crochet?

Relax ..Rodon was just toying with them...and his pitch count...

Thankfully Seattle isn’t any good.

still a nice start for Carlos, bet we run him back out

Kept it scoreless...thanks hard Carl.

Glad they got out of it, though this junk isn't going to work against a team of actual major league hitters.

Ugly, but Seattle is bad, and no runs score.

Just had to make it hard on himself

Time for the bats to wake up.

Nice to see Kopech up.

Yermin?

That change-up from Rodon is looking interesting, man. What an encouraging start from him.

Yas blocked that with his ballsack.

Grandal haters silent on a great defensive inning.

Probably not on start 1

Apparently Rodon is now a three outcome

pitcher? Walk, strikeout, or error ?

Excellent job by Carlos to grind it out and get out of the inning with no damage.

Carlos has thrown high leverage pitches all game. His leash in the 5th needs to be extremely short if he goes out there.

Carlos my man, it wasn't perfect but it was pretty nice.  Got into a little trouble but got out of it, very encouraged about what I saw

edit: if he is removed

I can’t imagine what that slider is like when you’re in the box.  The swings Carlos induces....man.

A fairer-skinned catcher woulda done it better

Gotta like what you saw out of Carlos. The upside is there, especially with him hitting 96-98 consistently

Rodon has a sweatshirt on in the dugout, he's probably done for the night.

Much better - Just illustrating those behind Hamilton.

  • Yermin 1.563
  • Grandal .872
  • Abreu .793
  • Robert .683
  • Hamilton .661

That was a meatball of meatballs

Great job Carlos. Thrilled. They didn’t swing at a lot of close pitches last inning. Could have looked a lot different.
