What I love about Yermin is it feels like he takes every AB like it could be his last.

Look if Collins wanted regular at-bats he just had to get 10 hits in his first 10 at bats

I wonder if Yermin can end up like Maggs. Not comparing how they got there or the actual talents - but if I remember right, Magglio was never viewed as special - but when he got his shot he hit and never stopped hitting. 
 

Yermin looks like the real deal offensively. Age be damn - that bat plays.

He hit like 2020 Jose Abreu in the minors 2 years ago, too. Yermin has deserved this opportunity for awhile now.

Leury up with the bases loaded, probably the worst combo to have.

Yermin is kind of like how I was about sushi way back when.  It just didn't look right at first, but after trying it... damn.  I'm addicted to the sushi, and I'm addicted to the Y.

What I like is how he got to 3-0 by showing a good eye and then took a huge hack.  He’s dangerous at the plate for sure

I think Maggs broke out a little earlier and never got pushed out of affiliated baseball altogether at one point.  Yermin is quite the story if he continues to hit.  He looks as locked in as anybody!  Luke Voit might be a good comparison as someone who always hit but never got any hype or look because they were a lumbering 1B / DH type of player.

Leury having a rough start to season. It’s okay - Vaughn about to deliver.
