would've been the perfect game to piggy back Kopech and Crochet, but they both went yesterday.. What are we to do now?

Start Giolito or Keuchel on full rest?  Not sure why this is a big deal.  Carlos can go later in the series.

This is what I'd do as well.

Rest isn't the issue so much as the notice. Giolito went to bed last night and woke up this morning expecting to start tomorrow and I don't know how short of notice a pitcher can get pushed up a day and expect to perform normally.

Just under the weather or something more concerning?

It would be genuinely stunning if they all got it last Thursday and issues suddenly cropped up today, 4 days later, without any idea over the weekend that something was amiss.

ReyLo to the rescue?

Still no actual proof of this. From any Sox person

I got swollen lymph nodes in my collarbone and armpit, rash on my arm a week after the first dose. I'd imagine he got the vaccine on his non pitching arm, if he  got it.

Only legit proof is his wife posting an instagram story with the caption "daddy doesn't feel good. waiting outside his appointment..."

So, yeah, other than that, it's all speculation

I am thinking Rodon is on for tonight,

Well the Manager does need to know his options.

So for tonight, the claim that a pitcher "shit himself out on the mound" might be literal instead of metaphorical.

Remember how sweaty and gross Freddy Garcia looked in 2005 (was it during the ALCS or the WS?), and he pitched a gem.  Maybe Rodon can do the same with a case of the shits.

if rodon craps himself on the mound we all must not laugh, ok. Let's be mature about this shituation.
