I went back to gameday to look at his 5 k game vs the Angels-he had one pitch that wasn't a perfect pitcher's pitch that whole night 

The last at bat-strike one and two were perfect pitches....what's he going to do there? 

 

Seriously......what's he going to do with this? those are 3 perfect pitches and a curveball in the dirt. 

 

Go look at his batted ball data on Baseball Savant, and it's similar to 2019. Not quite as good, but similar. I think he'll come around eventually.

We had a chance in the 9th and blew it. It's going to be very difficult for this team to get to 22 games over .500 to make the playoffs if the big bats don't wake up.

Hendriks threw 13 pitches in the 9th. You absolutely throw him in the 10th.
