Yes I know that.  I'm also sure he has a pitch limit this game.  What do you think that is? Serious question.

Probably around 70

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little b****? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I

There's a lot of things, even from players well above Nick's caliber, that are "inexcusable" that still happen. That's life. Get over it.

If he stops playing like shit then I will.  If he doesn't then I won't.  It's up to him.

Kopech gonna fuck around and take Cease's spot in the rotation sooner rather than later.

I don't think it's hyperbole to say that Kopech has a chance to be the best pitcher in baseball if he stays healthy.

Man, Garcia can fly for a big guy

Thanks.  Nice start to this inning.

KC needs to start losing

They've had 9 of their games against Detroit, Texas and Toronto, in which they are 7-2., probably 8-2 after today. It might be who they've played so far.

I wonder how much longer before Kopech and Cease are swapped?

Kopech is on cruise control

Still waiting for someone to show me evidence that babying pitchers has done anything but cause more injuries and arm problems.

Amateur overuse is the problem for many, not professional work load.

Talk about replacing Cease already. I was getting yelled at just 7 short months ago from people who wanted him to start in a playoff game knowing he wasn't good enough.

IMO hopefully Keuchel's after the season.  I think the Sox have him on a limit no matter what and are hoping to prep him for the playoffs.  But who knows?

EZ inning for MK!

stops playing like shit? Your what hurts? He upped his OPS to over .800

that half inning felt like it lasted two minutes

I CAN ONLY GET SO FULLY ERECT MICHAEL!

At this point you have to let him try for a quick 5th and the W???

They need to ride it out with Cease and see if he can figure it out, especially with Kopech's inning limitations

This is one of the most dominating pitching performances i have ever seen

Honestly the next turn? If you’re free lighting 80-90 from Kopech not reason not to

His ceiling is somewhere about Verlander who of course won a Cy Young and MVP in the same year so yeah.

Thanks Boston.

Why bring Kopech out with a 7 run lead? Stiever, Ruiz and Foster should be able to get through the game while still getting the key guys rest

They are stretching him out

I agree.  Been saying that for the last 20 years.  Good post

He's getting his fair shake and so far showing his same troublesome tendencies.
