I do not have a good feeling about the remainder of this game

Sox once again fail to score the runner from 3rd with less than 2 outs. K twice but the Tigers score with 2 outs

Lifeless

Boyd in game 2 has been lights out all year......offense better get it going.

It's funny....most thought that the rotation was the issue out of ST and the offense and bullpen would be fine. The opposite has been true.

Jimenez weighs heavily, but the really good teams can work around the loss of just one key offensive player, or they’re not as good as we previously thought, especially with Abreu and Grandal struggling.

I think they will get to Mize 2nd time thru the order.

Doesn't look like it so far.

How could anyone? I was hoping maybe TLR would get ejected and give us a chance, but he’s a bit too sleepy and unenthusiastic for that realistically

What a pathetic lineup and offense, in a position to lose a series AT HOME to Detroit.

White Sox just signed Royce Clayton and Mark Johnson to hit 8/9.

I remember when I was really young and just started loving baseball. Royce Clayton was my first "hated" player. My young meatball self hated him.

Wow.  This is pathetic.  0-2 to everybody.. whats the approach?

lifeless and pathetic

Well it's only 3 more innings and I'm not sure the Sox are aware of that

But who do they replace him with, early-season?  McEwing probably wouldn’t take it “out of respect.”

Hell if we lose this one, we might get swept. Cease isn't exactly dependable.

Mercedes is the life of this offense so far. Not playing him today is so dumb.  Sit down Mr. MVP for once.

Could be a Detroit ?

Losing is a disease....

....as contagious as bubonic plague...

Lol terrible, would not be surprised if we get 1 hit in this one.

And the winner for the most random names pulled across all threads for the day is...

I mean, Moncada and Giolito taking steps backward is not good. They really need Moncada to get going otherwise they're going to struggle to score all year. He's getting some singles here and there but the XBH are nowhere to be found.

Then, Giolito has been figured out a bit as hitters have figured out that they don't really have to worry about a 3rd pitch.

Anyone see who they face tomorrow?

Beating up the Tigers and Royals isn’t going to work to put us 16 games over .500 this year.

It must be pretty demoralizing for other players to see three of your top hitters on the bench in a 7 inning game.
