DJ speculating it’s a hip flexor.

Vaughn had 2 of the 4 hits. That should earn him some time off.

That's a month out.

The way it looked, that’s a best case scenario

From watching what he was holding it’s either a groin or a hip flexor pull

What happened? I’m only able to follow this thread. :(

Robert badly pulled something running to first on an infield single to third

Robert hurt himself running to first, it didnt look good. He couldnt put any pressure on his right leg and had to have 2 people help him off

How long it takes a hip flexor strain to heal depends on how severe the injury is. A mild strain can take a few weeks to heal. But a severe strain can take six weeks or more to heal, according to Summit Medical Group.

Best case here, regardless, probably 4-6 weeks out...

It'll be fine.  Baseball is a team sport, they will find a way to make up for his loss.  Its not the NBA.

How painful is that injury?

He was holding his right groin

That was such a weak swing by Abreu, I am not sure what is going on with him

Yes. Hi tripped then had to reach and strained the muscle, I think.

4 weeks for a hip flexor?

How bad is that ptatc?

Can be very painful. You can't lift your leg at all.

Treatment basically just rest?

The good news, if there is any is engel will be back so they wont lose much defensively.

They need vaughn to pick it up a bit offensively, and abreu, but if vaughn can get going maybe they can cover for the loss a bit.

Arguably our most important player is down. This is not good.

They are remarkably thin in the OF. Could really, really hurt.

Yes. Massage and some stim but rest is the only way.

When is Engel supposed to be back?

Aging curve or just never that good until late May...except 2014 rookie campaign.
