Difficult matchup today. I was fine with a split coming in, so Sox are playing with house money as far as I‘m concerned. Just keep treading water until we acquire some OF help

Actually would have preferred to have the pitcher batting 8th. 

I feel like Keuchel is going to be the 5th starter in the not too distant future with Cease and Rodon surging. 

Then we get Kopech in the 5th spot  later this season, so..

It doesn't really matter anymore, the rotation order has already been upended. Calling him the 5 doesn't change anything

Five doesn't matter, but Six does.  Kopech will be in the mix before long, maybe just after the All Star break.

Eaton needs his days off otherwise he is going to wear out for the long haul.  

 

I also think with the circumstances we are in, Madrigal needs to stay at #2 in the line-up for the foreseeable future.

Still doesn't matter.  Kopech is innings restricted he isn't going in the rotation any time soon.  Probably well after ASB

Agreed. If everyone was healthy, he obviously hits 9. Now though, he needs to be 2.
