As long as the starters keep us in games they will find ways to win. Losing 3 out of 4 to the Royals is still pretty rough

I think this is just gonna be a really up and down team this year. Hopefully they can get some consistency - the scoring without homers is encouraging, but there are just too many big holes in the lineup right now.

That was probably our best shot. Good luck getting a run off Barlow or Staumont.

We need to right the ship soon, because these next three series will be much tougher...and even Baltimore’s offense and Means can be tough.

This is sad since we thought most teams would be saying this about our bullpen

I think we are in trouble. Especially with the Yankees and Orioles. 

It is going to be a grind for this team all season. No one is running away with the AL Central.

Without Mercedes hitting, we’re reduced to the middle of the order and TA/Vaughn being dangerous.

just kind of a disjointed offense.

We crushed Happ last time out, so hard to expect an easy repeat...even if JA is old and LH.

It's mid May and this bullpen is still struggling to keep runners off base.  

So frustrating.

The defense hasn’t come through late game as well...seems like 40% of these blown leads had extenuating circumstances.

Against largely average to below average or abysmal (Detroit) teams.

Last year we practically ran the table on DET and KC in twenty games. 

This is all on the offense.  So far 3 runs in almost 2 games against the royals.  Ugly!

How did we sweep them last week?  Their bullpen appears much better than ours.
