Thanks.  Guess I should've been searching for "web gem" instead of "horrific injury"

Whoever they add I just hope they can lay down a couple of strategic successful bunts every game

Judging by the reactions you‘d think the Orioles batted around in the first inning

Eaton has to be due for an IL stint.  If he does go to the IL, who comes up?  Is Engel ready?  Sheets?

My ideal move is Engel up and Eaton to IL, and also Sheets up and Lamb DFA'd.

We probably won't see that last part, though.

Weather this evening doesn't look great.  I would be surprised if they get this one in.

If it were between Lamb and Hamilton to be DFA'd, I say Hamilton goes first.

Not so sure about that. Leury can play infield, and Hamilton just offers so much speed and defense which this team can actually use with outfield situation... especially if eaton is out for a bit

Lamb can hit relatively speaking, Hamilton can’t. Scoring runs is the team‘s biggest issue.

I think Hamilton sticks around until Robert is back.

I originally said I thought they would send Mendick down when Engel is back, but now I think Eaton might go on the IL so Mendick will get another 10 days, but Mendick having options and batting righty probably means he goes first. Not what I would do, but what I think happens.

Hopefully if there is a roster move today, it involved Eaton and not Kopech.

But yeah, looks like this one probably turns into a DH tomorrow. Which sucks.

According to the Score Sheets took a wicked fall into the dugout, though I can't seem to find the video.

I saw the video on sheets and he flipped over the railing. Not sure what happened after that but I believe he left the game.

Tomorrow's forecast might be even worse. It looks like rain starts today at 2-4 and goes for 36 hours. Sox already have a double header Monday. Could be some scheduling craziness if they can't get one of the next two games in.

Engel probably is planned for Monday. Sheets left the game yesterday after falling over the dugout rail making a catch at first base.

Looks fairly miserable the next couple nights. Maybe back to back doubleheaders Sat and Sun.

They should bring up Rutherford and sheets if Eaton goes on the DL. Hahn has no clue whether any of the minor league can play at the major league level. Bring up one of the young outfielders and let them play.

That would be back to back to back double headers Sat-Mon.

Ha, I was just about to say...yikes!

In that case, maybe the Orioles come back to Chicago to play two on July 22.

This would never happen.
