This loss had nothing to do with the pitching. Other than Vaughn nobody is hitting. NOBODY!. You can't score at least 4 runs against KC? And now Eloy could be hurt again? I'm starting to think it just isn't meant to be this year.

we don't have to evaluate players like it's 1983 anymore, guys. You don't need WAR to realize Yoan Moncada is an awesome baseball player. He's slumping but so is basically everyone except Vaughn.

We may still end up winning the division but I don’t think we’re going to last a series in the playoffs if we keep playing like this.

He had to make contact with man on 2 nd in the 10 th with no outs and not swing on sliders not in the zone.  Not a quality effort.  Had no protection either as Vaughnwas stupidly taken out in the 9 th.

yeah, I hate players who are 27% better than league average offensively. BUMS!

Management / Ownership expect way too much from folks with limited talent. 

But that's been Reinsdorf"s MO for 40 years. In 2005, he got career years out of mostly cost-effective journeymen ballplayers and managed to get his one and will be only championship.
