Eloy is our best hitter - when healthy.

Hernandez has serious speed. He has the speed that I thought Madrigal had when we drafted him

I think the lack of speed and fielding yips is why they were fine moving Madrigal. he was...not quick.

How far off is Vaughn from ROY?

he was +1500 before tonight right now he is +1200 (DraftKings) and tied 5th behind Adolis Garcia, Randy Arozarena, Luis Garcia, and Akil Baddoo

Vaughn does not play like a rookie. No way.

I assume Eloy is done

I would hope so. He might get hurt getting on the plane, but Tony needs to make sure he is in the lineup with Robert tomorrow.

If he were given due credit for never really having played pro ball prior to this season, he would be the runaway favorite.  Seriously, one of the most impressive things I've ever seen a Sox prospect do in my decades of fandom.  Alas, the beginning of the season put him in a hole that will be tough to overcome for whomever decides on ROY.

coffee before bed.. wtf

He was +4000 before the season started on Points Bet

If it wasn't for his lower RBI total I think he would have a great chance

i feel like liam's personality would be really grating if you were on a losing team.

thought that was gone

Watching him in college, you knew it was just a matter of time with him. It's hard to to believe there were doubters.

That looked way out

Cubs had a few close calls at the wall tonight.

Gameday still has Vaughn in right, he's gotten tan

These ESPN announcers have not watched many Sox games this season.  Their comments have been pretty ignorant.

They don't even pay attention to the game they are broadcasting. The Score was goofing on these clowns making comments about the Sox Angels game that had no reflection of whatever was going on in the game.

I listened to the radio broadcast all game and have the TV on mute, enjoyed laughing at some of their comments posted here.

He’s Anthony Rendon and not a huge power hitter IMO

He played 55 games there.

yeah just like him only 10x more talent and likely production ?

So is Goodwin in for Vaughn or is Goodwin in for Eloy with Vaughn moving to LF? I don't think they ever explained.

NVM, they just did.

Hernández acquisition was a home run.  Great D, good base running, some pop, 20 homers, looks like a  very solid major leaguer.
