Eight HR I think the pitchers were all in the tank. Thank God Tony gave Tim the home run sign and saved the day. Miguel Cairo ends his Sox manager career undefeated.

I wouldn't be 100% sure about anything happening (or not) at LaRussa's age.   Right now, you'd have to go with Cairo over Narron/McEwing/Jirschele as the anointed heir-apparent.

Shoeless  Joe had the first Sox walkofif homer against the Yanx in 1919. They should release tonight's game as the movie sequel.

Sorry if I missed this somewhere but any word on why Engel came out of the game? I assume he tweaked something but he was jumping up and down on TA's homer so hopefully not severe. Thanks.
