The lineup sucks, his velocity is down and the ump sucks.  I beat everyone to it.  Enjoy the game.

Dude is in his second full season.  He's still learning at the big league level.  He's made a lot of progress.  It just takes time.  It took Garland time.

I mean Kimbrel isn't earning it either at this point.

Let him actually pitch in the 9th might help.

It’s obviously a gigantic problem. And to state the absolute obvious…the lineups he’ll be facing in the playoffs aren’t the Royals and Twins.

His act has grown incredibly old when he gives up gopher balls every fucking appearance. You want to get mad, Liam? Get mad about your blown saves.

But the Royals have fucked him up

While I agree, one thing Kimbrel hasn't done, is given up 11 (ELEVEN) Home Runs in 50 innings.

Can we get some more threads about how unhittable our bullpen is now?

Kopech ?

Results couldn't be any worse, might need to give it a try.

I'm glad Hendriks is getting exposed like this. I do not want him closing a single game in the playoffs.

Yeah, Kimbrel should be the closer. He is being used as a set up guy rn and it's not working, use him in save situations and I bet he will be much better than this idiot who gives up way too many HRs

this bullpen is straight fucked now, nobody has any role or confidence anymore.

Maybe at the end that might be true?  But Crochett has looked good of late!  And confident!

The white Sox are where closers go to DIE

We were fine when we didn't have high priced guys like Koch, Linebrink, Robertson, Kimbrel and Hendriks.

Looks at the history with guys like Thigpen, Hernandez, Foulke, Gordon, Takatsu, Jenks, Hermanson, Sergio Santos, Addison Reed, Colome, etc.

Somehow we managed to survive with under the radar types because we always believed it was a waste of resources.

Were paying Kimbrel and Hendriks 30 million. One of them needs to close.

More like both of them need to go.

You understood the point, dickhead ?

Seriously tho Kimbrel needs chances to save. Liam ain’t getting it done

You simply can’t put a 2-0 fastball down the plate to Gallo there. Stupid Collins didn’t have him throw a single slider to him.

Why isn't the bench calling pitches?  They used to do it a lot when Ozzie was manager.

The kimbrel is great hendriks is trash stans are a weird group.

I know TLR have a lot of respect of Liam but it’s a trend. Let Kimbrel get the 9th the next time they have the lead

I just think the Yankees have a really good offense and sometimes, even twice in a series, you get beat by a lineup of really good hitters late. That’s no reason to rush to sweeping definitive conclusions about proven players’ overall abilities.

Also don’t forget he’s been basically 50 pct in terms of closing out a game when he enters with a one run lead.

Apparently Liam is just Australian Jose Ruiz when he faces the Yankees.

Ballgirl rocks

Better reaction time than Collins

Yeah, and that's not even mentioning that Tepera has to prove himself in the 7th.

No idea what Bummer's role is anymore.   Crochet and Kopech are becoming more and more important, but we need one or both of them as starters going forward.

Would be better to invest that $30 million for two closers into insurance for the starting rotation.

Crochet and kopech and.. dare I say it, bummer are back and ready to dominate. Who knew that you can find bullpen help for pretty cheap contract wise.

They had basically minor leaguers up after Judge and Gallo.  Just stupid pitch selection this inning to go with Hendriks being a gas can.
