Wow, I just checked the wild card standings.  I knew Oakland had been struggling but did not realize they had fallen a 1/2 game back of both Toronto and Seattle.  Let's keep them down and win this series.

Interesting to see if Toronto can make a run at Boston/NY.  And if Seattle wants to go nuts and sneak in...ok.

I don't really get the elephant ref

And also this:

West coast teams should be required to start games no later than 5:30 local time.

I think they're one of the cooler MLB franchises, myself.

Since divisional play began in 1969, the A's have won 16 division titles and two wild cards. They have won 100 or more games five times. They have gone to six World Series, winning four of them.

we need to win.

I'll be happy with just 1 win this series given our history in Oakland and who we're throwing out there as starters. The A's are coming off an abysmal series in Toronto though. Lou Trivino singlehandedly blew 3 games for them recently.

I say let's sweep 'em!

...half the time with needles hanging out of their butts.

We don't know yet if Lambert is starting I guess. I assume we will see him. The pitching well in the minors seems a bit dry. Mike Wright also due for a visit.

He's listed as the starter in the lineup just posted on the official team account.

I say you can't just go around saying stuff off the cuff.

I know, I know.

Do as I say, not as I do.
