Well this is what happens when leadership doesn't stand up for its players.  The players do it themselves.

I think Tony was. And Miguel Cairo got thrown out.

Someone want to help a brother out who doesn't have the game on tv today?

I don't blame Abreu at all. Not one bit.

Not their final meeting of the season Jason

He really needs to stick with basketball or whatever.

Jose was looking to spike the fuck out of the guy covering second.  Steve Stone is full of shit.

Tony just delayed the game and Cairo got thrown out for it. Not sure thats the correct takeaway here.

Man, yeah...Abreu could have screwed his leg up big time there, with that slide....

That was stupid by Jose going in that hard, but it sure felt good watching it..

That was old time baseball there

The ONLY reason that Tony came out of the dugout was because Jose was already pissed and jawing with both Lange and the catcher.

Gavin is a smart kid. Helps that he's basically built like a buffalo

If Sheets doesn't hold Abreu back there...

Just hope there's not any suspensions because of this.

No problem with Jose getting fired up, only way he could show his frustration

It's a hard slide but totally within the rules.  Grow up.

Meh wouldn't hurt for Jose to miss Cincy, get some rest come back and mash Detroit

Shades of a bench clearer in 2000 with the Tigers that woke that Sox team up and got them going.

I’m ok with a little broo ha ha right now to rev up the troops a bit in this otherwise dull last week for them.

unfortunately this is all the makings of hendriks blowing this game.

Cost them a run on that double.

Same.  Frustration got the better of Abreu, but suspensions and or injury is the last thing anyone needs right now.

Yup this really reminded me of that. Although that fight was pretty bad. I don't think this one was anywhere near as bad.

The 2000 brawl was some of the worst in mlb history

If someone gets thrown at in the bottom of the 9th, you might see that.
