  • What a stupid thing to talk about. The World Series starts tonight. The Astros and Braves are playing. Watch it if you want. Or don’t.

  • As you can see social justice has no logic and creates a stench because it pisses on everything.  This kind of stuff ruins forums.

Drop the mic Passan.

Speaking of weather, I guess it’s a good thing the Twins weren’t actually good this year. If game 6 and 7 was in Minnesota this season, they’d be playing the games in the 30’s. It wouldn’t have been much better here if the Sox advanced.
I really hope the next CBA addresses the schedule—as in, the modern game doesn’t need to be 26.5 weeks and 162 games. It’s outdated. Opening day should be the first Monday in April, and World Series should be in the books by October 21st…so the regular season should be done 5 weeks earlier if they’re going to expanded postseason.

Yeah that’s not going to happen. Less revenue overall? Frankly there’s a better chance of the season getting longer than shorter, with additional playoff games added.

We shall see. They can’t routinely end the season this late though. It’s ridiculous. With expanded postseason, they may be able to shorten the regular season by total number of games, or scheduled 7-inning doubleheaders. They have to get the postseason going by September 20th or so.

Any land that proved valuable they got pushed off of, multiple times. The Iroquois provided a model for our first government and they were run off to Canada. It deserves more attention than resenting that you are inconvenienced by woke people.  The Osage in OK provide another horrible story when they became wealthy from oil on their land.

Woke people from 30 years ago:

And the National Congress of American Indians:

Woke politics aside, hoping the Braves scalp the asthoes good tonight but I'm very scared of Houston they can be very dangerous

Have the Astros ever lost a WS game with cold, misty weather?  Also, Ian Anderson reminds me so much of Giolito.

Interesting.  Mike Mussina was a popular comp when he was drafted.

2005 game 2 started at 51 degrees F and ended at 45. It was listed in the record books as rainy and misty. It was a fascinating game with an unexpected twist against the Astros in the 9th.

Yep exactly the game I was thinking of

Great observation, I thought the same thing.

Onions ? ?

Hope Dusty reconsiders working around Swanson versus having to face their top three.

This is a must win for Atlanta with Fried their next slated starter for Game 6.

Favorite sports moment of my life

Was depressed I wasn’t watching the Sox and Watched the YouTube video earlier. Chills.

"pitch framing is only as good as the pitcher who allows you to frame it."  Preach on Brother Smoltz.

Good game. Anderson is a confident, stud pitcher. Wish he went longer, but can’t argue with the outcome. Go Braves!

The next 2 games get messier for the Braves. Drew Smyly and Kyle Wright, but both of them threw an inning in game 2. Smyly had an of 4.5 this year, Wright had an ERA in the bigs of 9.5.
