Pilkington making the Guardians OD roster on the same day Lynn gets hurt with no depth behind him reinforces what a disaster the trade deadline was

He's been making jokes about conditioning all spring training... he's getting old, and should take some kind of conditioning more seriously. Probably too late for that. Hope it's not serious.

He's mentioned the knee as something he'll have to manage the rest of his career. Not great if it's already flaring up before the season even starts.

So that lockout seems worth it now, huh owners?

Nothing was learned from the 2020 season, apparently

Thank God we have Vince Velasquez as a depth!

Giolito, Cease and pray for rain

And Jimmy Lambert waiting in Charlotte! Everything is fine. Who needs another starter anyway?

The scary thing is if this is something that lingers all year for him.

Is that 3 times in 6 games a player left with injury now?

Well fuck.

Keep building the roster as if no one will ever get hurt and I'm sure next season Hahn/KW will be right

I absolutely hated that trade from the start. Pilkington was having a great year and scouting reports said his stuff was looking good. Just mind boggling.

Might slightly optimistic take is if it was something serious, I doubt they let him walk all the way past the fence in RF without assistance.

Nope, we're White Sox fans. Nice things are not allowed.

You can walk on a torn ACL

Not without a more significant limp than that.

Agreed but if they even were concerned about that, it seems they would have carted him off.

Happens all the time in the NFL. This is a 3-4 month injury for Lynn

What have you diagnosed him with?
