  • He has one of the best eyes in baseball, is your highest paid hitter, and the pitcher on the mound can't find the zone.  But @greg775 told me TLR is a great manager, it can't be debated!

TLR can straight go F himself. Leury in any spot but 8th or 9th shows the game has passed him by and we are not a world series caliber team with him as manager.

Stone calling out Eloy.  Nice

What did he say

Eloy was lollygagging down the line and made the final out at 1st. If he hustled it would have been 1st and 2nd with 2 outs.

They’re better than what they’re showing, but we’re definitely going to get exploited against tough righties.  Pretending that Leury is somehow better against RHP than our actual good hitters doesn’t help.

Edited by Chicago White Sox

Ober is like the pitcher Jon Rauch was supposed to be...has added about 4 mph to his fastball.

And fwiw we are really fortunate to have missed #1 starter Joe Ryan, looks like the real deal so far.

Why are the hitters so late on every fastball?  That was embarrassing by Leury.

wow this team is bad

Something seems very wrong internally.

2 weeks spring training, cold weather and rain delays

Ober gets better and better the more times the Sox see him...that extension makes 92-93 seem more like Kopech velocity.

And now pretty much the entire lineup is in free fall...other than Sheets taking some solid swings.

It’s almost like they knew this was a problem last year but did next to nothing to fix it!

3 straight at 92/93 and he was defensively swinging like it was 102.

Become it's like he is throwing from 59'9" at that height and extension.

other than the fact that they all hate their coach?

We could save our energy and just copy and paste from a Twins board. They're probably saying the exact same things.

It helps when you are 11 feet tall

Leury's normally one of the best fastball hitters...just not getting a good look at the pitches at all.  Deceptive.

Good pitch count inning

Kopech needed that easy 1-2-3 inning.

Let's go 1984-1989 White Sox offense. Who is tonight's Ivan Bubbling Calderon?

28/43 pitches fastballs from Ober.

Eloy back to his terrible stance that gives him no shot on sliders

Theo Epstein not looking like quite such an idiot in retrospect on Gleyber Torres and Jimenez...Soler career resurgence has been the real surprise.

Eloy has been pretty much worthless for quite a while. Doesn’t seem like it’s anywhere close to changing either.

Yes he is, Eloy and Cease for Q was a horrific trade.
