just DFA Abreu at this point so Vaughn can play 1B and we can have a proper OF of Pollock - Robert - Engel with Sheets at DH.  I'm not joking.

I’m shocked that our Sheets/Vaughn corner outfield duo directly led to a hit and at least 1 run. Shocked

What a MLB joke.  2 DH/IB playing the corner outfield positions.

Maybe playing 1B/DH's in the outfield isn't such a great isea after all.

Who knew

Falling behind Santana again. He literally will not swing unless he's ahead in the count come on now.

Vaughn and TA have to step up because the rest of the lineup seems inept.

Here we go, lead is going bye, bye

How else can they get Grandal’s amazing bat into the lineup.

Cease has obviously lost it.  What could go wrong here.

Tim has had his head in his ass most of this season, so that checks out.

He was playing near 2nd base but you usually see the SS go out on high popups to short LF and he just looked at it.

the lead will cease.

Bullpen has to cover 3 innings. Good luck.

Timmy is making errors that hopefully get fixed. Vaughn is not making plays that historically are always made.

Again, he's playing a position he shouldn't be. He's literally playing spots for the first time (maybe ever?)

He didn't register a single start in the OF in college or the minors. I don't know what people expect here?

Assuming Abreu is still with the Sox next season, I would like to see either Vaughn or Eloy traded. Love both of them but neither belong in the OF.

hes probably pissed off at the defense, hard to blame him

Why is Cease being allowed to stay in the game?

Yanking every pitch glove side

I expect the organization to not do stupid shit, like put a DH/1B in LF AND RF, but....here we are.

But I get what you're saying.

We expect our dumbass manager to not play a 1B/DH in the OF (let alone two)

HE GONE

If it weren't for the inept defense Cease could have probably gone 7 innings today.

Wow, thanks Dozier.

You've seen the bullpen, everyone not named Graveman, right?

Three sliders in a row was bold, especially with #3 on 3-2. But it worked!

Has to suck when you can't trust the defense and need to strike everyone out.

I’m not blaming him at all. I’m blaming the stupid organization and especially their positioning.  Literally 4 bloopers by lefties in the last 5 games that easily should have been caught.
