When only one player in the line up has a BA over.230 and 5 have a BA below .200 I'm not sure you can expect a win with Keuchal pitching.

I can't ever remember seeing a lineup this "late" in the season where only 1 hitter has an OPS above .650 like the Sox do today

The Sox are last in walk rate, last in OBP, and have the 2nd highest swing rate in baseball

I tried watching two innings, this team has truly adapted to TLR… lethargic and poor motor skills.

Even if Keuchel and the D didn’t suck, the offense still can’t score.  It’s deflating.

Wondering how many balls have been hit to the wall this year.

Too many

Is AJ not healthy enough to play RF but is somehow ok for LF?  Is there something I’m missing there or is TLR just being baseball stupid again?

Not saying Sheets is a good defender, but Pollock has never played RF and has looked uncomfortable and terrible out there. Cost them the game in Detroit.

His primary worth is if you can salvage his bat and keep him on the field for 100 games.

They have needed a RF for three years, and Hahn has come up with Mazara, Eaton, and rotating spot (Leury/Sheets/Engel).

We have 2 hitters in the lineup with an OPS over .700. Meanwhile, every Angels hitter playing today has an OPS over .700.

Keuchel or not, that's the difference to me.

You forgot playing like they are half drunk

Well he doesn’t look good in left either

I see we still can't hit

Yep this team is average at best compared to the other non sucky teams. We are realistically the 8th best team when healthy until we prove otherwise.

The final results from Keuchel are going to be about as good as you can realistically expect from him at this point

For sure. I rag DK like nobody's business, because he IS a black hole on this team. But....this offense is absymal, with no plate discipline or plan of attack whatsoever.

Honestly, 4 runs over 5 is the best you can expect from Keuchel. Need to score runs to win games.

It's the same for both teams so this isn't an excuse, but someone needs to take a bat to the humidor and dejuiced balls

LOLeury.

We have 5 out of 9 guys in this lineup, who have an average that starts with a 1...a ONE....

Give Leury some time... he could finish the day below .100 if he gets 2 more ABs

Hitters 3 through 9 are automatic outs at this point. This roster is very flawed.

To score runs you have to be able to hit the ball

What a feeble attempt by leury

Love that both Leury and Harrison just have to be in the lineup today.

Anytime you can have a 5.15 ERA in a game and somehow improve your season ERA, you suck

Speaking of suck, the offense sucks

How do you go from top 7 OPS team to a bottom 5 OPS team with basically the same roster?

I don't think they will finish this low overall, but I'm still shocked they could be this cold for an entire month of the season.

I understand why he's playing, but there has been waaaaaaayy too much Reese McGuire in the lineups lately too

Very nice inning from Burr, at least

It’s brutal. His catching hasn’t even been good lately.
