As presently constituted, the Cubs are fielding a better lineup than the White Sox. It should be a tough two game series for the Sox. Hopefully, the Sox will be able to win one of the two games.

The good old "sitting guys" to keep them fresh strategy. It's really worked wonders for the White Sox.

Robert was finally finding his swing and getting in a grove, and now he sits on the bench. It's just bad managing. I said it to you before PTATC, baseball is not some physcally strenuous activity that

No reason to put him out there if you were going to pull him on a weak grounder.  Fuck TLR.

Nice double play by Abreu. He gloves them as well as he hits them.

Let’s maybe not punch the bat rack next time.

We can only hope he's fine.  At the very least he'll be feeling it tomorrow morning.

Yeah it'll leave a bruise.

Pito throwing some leather

Thank god Nick Madrigal is possibly the worst base runner in baseball...and that was why i was fine with him getting traded.

At least Jose showed up to play defense.

Lopez should stay in the bullpen. He's a reliever.

So much for the theory of just telling the manager you want to play.

Another nice DP.  Good pitching from ReyLo.

Kopech did well.  That long at bat in the third took him out of his groove a bit but love seeing the fire.  Kid's good.

This is the Twins' schedule the next 28, after going 11-1 in their last 12

18-10 is going to put them at 14 games over .500 at the end of May.  And I might be a bit conservative with that projected record.

That said, Ober is out and Sano might be out for an extended period of time, but that might be a case of addition by subtraction looking at his results so far this season.

I can't remember a worse opening month to the season weather wise. Cold, rain and when it has been clear and halfway warm it has been windy as heck.

Ok that was a nice play by Madrigal.

Maybe people were too quick to discount the scouting reports on Madrigal's defense based off like 80 games ?

Arm didnt look like a noodle there, strong throw

What an idiot move by TLR.  If he was only allowed 1 batter then just let ReyLo start the inning clean

Most likely Katz. Trying to continue to work in endurance for kopech up to 90 pitches.

And the sox have the third lowest BABIP...with a lot of that to do with the crappy weather. Once it warms up...the bats are gonna heat up.

Madrigal actually made some nice plays tonight.

Where was that play from Madrigal in the A's 2020 division series?

Maybe people also were disappointed in the 40 grade speed that was just showcased on his base running when it was 70+ by most scouts
