He had that opportunity last year and fizzled.

And even if he's healthy for the rest of this season...not sure by definition that's extended or not.

So tired of our hitters swinging at balls

Sox getting a lot of center cut pitches and missing em.

I've had the time to sit down and watch an entire game twice in a week....both of them starts by Cortes...if it's like the last time that'll suck.

Cutter is killing the Sox.

Basically can't hit anything under 90 mph.

Three of our best hitters against LHP all K in a row…this lineup is fucking whbroken 

So more patience was good but still not enough as 3 straight strikeouts were all on balls (2 weren't close)

What is Moncada's contract situation? Would anyone be dumb enough to trade for him?

2 years, 42.6 M. The answer is no. 

This guy throws about the same velocity as Danks or Parque (before injury) but man is there a lot of variety and movement....and the cutter is such a Yankee tradition.

If he’s healthy absolutely. A 4 WAR 3b with his contract and several years of control is a solid player. 

Whether you get a top flight prospect for him would depend on whether someone was desperate for a 3b and how Moncada was hitting at the time.
