Moncada looks absolutely lost at the plate at the moment, he is just a walking out and doesn't even look like he believes a hit is coming.

How much did you actually watch him play there at Charlotte?  Are you just basing that primarily on his offense?

I'm watching him at third. Watching his feet. Comparing him to current Moncada at 3rd. If I was moving one this season, I wouldn't be as convinced at SSFWM

Bennett Sousa in a 2 run game...what the hell?

I honestly don't know what to do with Moncada right now. He's killing them.

If they can, a phantom IL stint followed by a long rehab stint in Charlotte might do him some good.

Hopefully he can show something by the end of the season.

Can Yoan even be sent down?  Hes the worst hitter in baseball.

He does have 2 options.

Why the hell is Sousa out there???

Sousa! What could go wrong!!??!

He's played there a lot before so it shouldn't hurt and maybe the change would help.  It certainly couldn't get much worse at this point.

Where’s another KW to claim him like Alex Rios when he was exposed to waivers, lol?

Pretty sure sending him down without his permission isn’t going to work…

If they don't want to move him off third, even temporarily, the there is the answer.

Tony seriously trying to give this game away.

Seriously what is going on with Moncada? You just don't become this bad without a reason. Is it injury or is it something personal going on off the field ? He just looks like he doesn't even care. Throw your bat or your batting helmet or bust up the dugout show something. He is about to be hitting sub .100.

You have to at this point

I would rather see if Lambert can give me an inning than Sousa right now.

TLR must have penciled in Bummer for the 8th. I'd rather he face the middle of the lineup than Sousa though.

Where is Bummer?  Unavailable?

Ohhh how quickly people forget Burger cost the Sox 10 runs with horrific 3B defense a mere 48 hours ago.

What do you mean?  What's he going to do, quit?

I'm convinced that bullpen management is not Soxtalks strong suit. No offense to you but hardly anyone actually keeps track of how much the RP's are actually used.

He was super excited scoring last night.  Watch the video.

If he was really injured why are they playing him in the field again in a day game after a night game?

The Sox don’t have the right after five years to do so unless it was injury rehab.

As you said adjusting to a new position hurts, not helps, a player. It seems like the worst thing if you want production out of Moncada is it have him spend time adjusting again to a different position while battling through a career threatening slump.

At the minimum have him sit a couple days and hope it is a reset. Find a soft spot to play him.

I thought exactly why?

Sousa needs to be removed from the mlb roster. It’s that simple.
