Person after person keeps saying this about the 2022 team.  With almost the exact same players as the 2020 team who had the reputation for never quitting, what has changed.   Oh right.

Yep. This quote and the quote from Abreu last week are telling.

Fans don't even care.  The last two games have been so bad nobody gives a shit.   Literally nobody cared about yesterday's game. My two college ages sons made the Sox must see tv in 20 and 2

The next time this guy is right, it will be the first time.

I think it’s clear they lost the clubhouse when they fired Renteria (not that I’m defending RR, he had his issues, but at least the team played hard for him). But instead of improving on RR they downgraded to a senile old curmudgeon baseball hoF person.

This may be my second most successful thread start and #1 in Pale Hose.

Phillies are 40-19 since firing Joe Girardi

Outside of Katz not a single person in that dugout including Hahn should be safe to return next year.

Thank you for that little ray of sunshine. I just threw up a little.

Why keep Katz safe? Clear everyone out. Burn it down.

Next season, I'm pretty sure Tony will be gone. But you can bet your 401k they will be crying poor and blaming Sox fans for not selling out the place this season while they were "contending" for a playoff spot.

I think he has done enough good especially with Cease and seems professional.

I lived through the Nibbling Nardi days.

Oh yes, the payroll will definitely be slashed.  Vengeful Jerry at his scummiest.

I just came here to post this… what a fucking clown. Fuck your family Tony.

I had extremely low expectations for the White Sox after October 29, 2020, a date which will live in infamy.

Tony has been even worse than what I expected and feared, and the sad thing is, I expect him to be here long after this and even next season.

Must be nice to have a semi-functional organization.

You’re talking about Tony LaRussa - yes?

TLR has to go

Edited by Soxfest

Nearly every baseball fan in America is a Tony La Russa fan.

Just about every Twins, Tigers, Guardians, Royals, Astros, Athletics......... fan loves Tony La Russa and hope he and Jerry are in their roles into the 2030s.
