June 14, 20223 yr Sox could go on a tear and TLR would still deserve to be fired for the ways he’s bungled the past two seasons. The team winning doesn’t negate that TLR is an awful manager and shouldn’t be anywhere near a dugout today, tomorrow, or ever again.

He was brought in supposedly to do 1 thing and 1 thing only....to put this team in a position to win a World Series. Nothing he has done has put them any closer to that objective.

As far as the winning streak, we will see if the Sox can start one against the lousy Tigers. Move into first place? They should be there already. Let's get into second place first. And let's hope that the middle relievers stop blowing multi-run, late inning leads. And let's hope Tony doesn't intentionally walk another hitter with two strikes.

A couple people, and not the usual everything sucks types, predicted this.
