Stone has ZERO to do with the performance of the ball club.

Yeah, but he influences decisions I believe behind the scenes especially his LOVE FOR TLR.

  • Sox haven't hit a homer at home in their last 5 games Hey Rick, if you're reading you suck balls at this. Or maybe your spawn is reading. Hey kid your dad sucks balls at this

  • Stoney is part of the problem with this organization. Bunch of stubborn old guys who think they’re the only ones who know how to play baseball the right way.

If they’re like 12 games out come the deadline, I doubt they become big buyers.  Nothing about this team screams “we are close to going on a run”.

My takeaway from this game has been Lynn looks healthy and effective. If that continues, he should 100% be traded before the deadline

Yep

Looks like the Orioles rebuild has now surpassed the Sox rebuild!

I love Lance Lynn"s passion.

I agree..  They can't mortgage any future trying to make a run this season.  It ain't happening.

the haul they could get for Lynn and giolito would be amazing

Some of these pitches the Sox are making outs on are right down the plate.  Abreu needs to elevate the damn ball.

If they're 12 out I agree. I don't think they're bad enough nor do I think CLE or MIN are that good. If they're 7 or 8 out I bet they try to win the division still (by trading for some veteran reliever if past actions are relevant now)

If it was anyone but RH doing the dealing I would agree.

I don't think they can get a lot for either guy as we speak

While I agree that this team hasn’t earned major deadline additions, the Sox have like 2 prospects of note. The future is now.

Pollock is back to doing not much.

So long as his knee doesn't act up, he'll be one of the best pitchers available at the deadline. Yep.

Serious question did Eloy die? Not that he would make a damn difference but wasn't he supposed to return like 3.5 weeks ago?

It was so damn predictable that once the bats came alive for a bit, the pitching fell apart. And now that the pitching looks good again, the bats go back to sleep. Just a pitiful team.

They rushed his return badly and are paying the price

basically all of the progress he's made has been by mashing lefties. His numbers are still awful vs RHP.

Just restarted rehab this week. Probably at least 10-14 days out assuming no further setbacks.

how many players does that apply to this year? ?

I tell ya guys what Sheets hits the FUCK out of the ball

Sox are ripping the ball all over.

Anybody hoping for a sweep now just for the outside chance of a TLR firing??

I understand your point but I like some of our prospects and don't trust Hahn to not trade away the wrong guys.

Plus this year I just don't see this team going anywhere.

Maybe we can trade him at the deadline
