6/27 Sox @ Angels: One Win Changes Nothing, Fire Tony La Russa Into The Sun Gamethread (8:38PM CT, NBCSC)

Seby doing an amazing job trying to lose us this game by himself. Out on the bases in the top half of the inning. Dropped catch at home in the bottom half and then a bad throw on a easy caught stealing.

Big energy did not help with getting the ball kicked out of his glove.  Regardless it did not matter either way.

I am deeply truly sorry your precious volatile fragile feelings are so distraught at the mere suggestion that the team should remove a dreadfully underperforming manager.  Perhaps tis not myself that

  • Last time I remember being happy as a Sox fan.  (Not a coincidence, Tony wasn't there) FIRE TONY

  • The manager is the moron for playing a first baseman in right field.

So they're going to send down one of their few natural outfielders to make room for another infielder.

The difference between our D and literally everyone else’s is just glaring.

I'm jealous of watching teams that actually put some value on having good defensive players

Repeat of opening series in 21 and the bullpen has never recovered

I can’t believe we let Ryan Tepera go.

Also took a successful bat out of the liineup.

TLR had to make sure he kept the streak of inexplicable bad moves in every game.  Taking out one of the few home run hitters for Leury in a one run game is malpractice.

Sosa looking a little overmatched but Haseley has done nothing

Bullpen $ was exhausted

I'm going to guess the Orioles will be sellers, Steve.

Prioritizing an injured Joe Kelly over him never made any sense to me

what a terrible swing.

Can't argue with you there.

Boy do we love hitting ground balls.

Both Cub guys were basically rentals.  People want to trust Hahn making trades.

I definitely would have had a quick hook with him, but he was rolling. I too would have let him start the 7th.

We have misallocated our resources on scrubs like Leury and Big Energy and let guys like Tepera walk.

Well at least Gio looked better…

but we will NEVER win close games with this defense.

Sox have plenty of blown leads after 7.  I wanted him to one more.  The pen is the weakest part of this team.

Many legs will break jumping off the bandwagon.

If the Sox had the lead, I guarantee Lambert would've thrown that into RF.

This team would still have fans if they believed they were trying to win.  They are all just paycheck stealers.
