  • What bothers me about this post is it totally absolves the rest of the FO, training staff, and players.  It's why I sometimes wonder if the La Russa hire was looked at as a good thing by Hahn and

Look if we aren't going to score runs, we can't give away cheap ones.  Even if Moncada keeps hitting like he was prior to his injury, he is still giving top notch defense at 3rd.

We are looking for both kinds of players 1B AND DH

Agreed but I doubt any manager would make that move

Kapler is obsessive about that type of stuff, but I agree, most would not

Fuck.  Bases loaded

Can Timmy avoid rolling over here?

Anderson is literally the only guy in the lineup I'm excited to see up with the bases juiced.

Credit where credit is due: Harrison has elevated himself to a point where he’s nowhere near the Sox biggest concern atm.

Last time he came up in that 12 inning game with them loaded it ended in the worst way possible.  Hopefully we get a better result here.

Hahn on the Score with Bernstein and Holmes at 11:30 tomorrow. Any chance they ask tough questions?

It's probably Hendriks' health for this season and next.

Moncada/Grandal/Jimenez health next.

And they really miss Bummer.

hes tried to pull everything from the lh batters box in this situation; we have to hope they leave something over the plate

Hope someone makes a thread about this tomorrow so I don’t forget to listen

I'm sure that's the logic, but I'd rather have Burger up here & then put Reese at C. but it's far from one of TLR's more egregious mistakes.

I don't know if you'd want to start burning bench players this early in the game.   It's only the top of the 6th.

You have Yoan just coming back from and injury, it leaves your bench thin with limited options if something happens later on.

And God knows we can't finish a game without players going down.

oh yeah, definitely. Bernstein is not afraid to ask tough questions.

Should definitely ask about Sosa...that was a boneheaded move calling him up like that.

My exact thoughts only I thought more about him trying to pull it. That would be fine if he could get a hit and even better if it's extra bases.

Woof

Da Fuq Anderson?

Pathetic Timmy, even Stoney calling him out

Lol of course.

He did it again.

Not clutch.

ouch, hes just not who you want up in these situations i guess

Tim why do you change your approach with runners on!?!?!

TA with RISP: 55% pull rate
TA with bases empty: 30.2% pull rate

Man, this dude just flat out sucks with RISP.

He is quite bad with risp.
