I keep expecting the bottom to fall out and it's just not happening

It will once he's removed. Someone from the pen will have mental weak moment.  Plus Leury is till out there and the team doesn't win with him.

  • What bothers me about this post is it totally absolves the rest of the FO, training staff, and players.  It's why I sometimes wonder if the La Russa hire was looked at as a good thing by Hahn and

Look if we aren't going to score runs, we can't give away cheap ones.  Even if Moncada keeps hitting like he was prior to his injury, he is still giving top notch defense at 3rd.

Right On Vaughn

JC has done a really nice job as the #5 starter. Even his losses he has not given up more than 4 runs.

I assumed he meant the bottom falling out and Cueto specifically crashing back to earth

It's been very encouraging to see Vaughn drawing more walks lately. The offense badly needs him to be a ~10% walk guy.

Robert is a good hitter again

JOSEEEE

There you Fucking go!!!

Lots of loud contact tonight

if haseley's plane has arrived he is welcome to pinch run for jose

What the absolute shit is this?

Does this look like what dreams are made of?

Feels like we have been waiting all season for our guys to hit like this.

Abreu has 4 batted balls tonight above 95 MPH. That'll do.

Lets see how fast the Sox give up the lead after that travesty of a half inning.

We just can’t hit a sacrifice fly. With bases loaded a strikeout or a ground ball on the infield is the norm.  We are just too impatient and not wait for a good pitch to hit.

There have been days but it hasn't stuck.  I remember feeling really good after 13-0 against Detroit but then again... it's Detroit.

But unfortunately not with the bases loaded.

Pito is beyond any criticism in my eyes. Just the consummate pro for a long time.

What is astounding this year is how much his eye for the strike zone has improved.

why wouldn't this reliever be one of your first choices against the sox if hes this slider heavy

Yoan!!!!

Yoan crushed that!

Typical Yoan with the warming track power ?

Yoan!!! But how does Pollock not score there?
