My exact thoughts only I thought more about him trying to pull it. That would be fine if he could get a hit and even better if it's extra bases.

You forgot he has no power this year

  • What bothers me about this post is it totally absolves the rest of the FO, training staff, and players.  It's why I sometimes wonder if the La Russa hire was looked at as a good thing by Hahn and

Look if we aren't going to score runs, we can't give away cheap ones.  Even if Moncada keeps hitting like he was prior to his injury, he is still giving top notch defense at 3rd.

We are looking for both kinds of players 1B AND DH

hes tried to pull everything from the lh batters box in this situation; we have to hope they leave something over the plate

I'm surprised the Angel's announcer knew that. Not many would.

Typical Tim Anderson at bat with bases loaded. Fucking disgusting

Man, It sure is wild how much his approach changes

TA is almost an automatic double play with the bases loaded.

this team is just terrible.

Can just never seem to get those more comfortable 3-5 run leads.

Worst guy to have up with RISP, no idea how he struggles so much but is great with the bases empty

Tim is not good in bases loaded situations.  He turns into Leury.

Nice research, awful numbers

90% of the game is half mental or whatever that Berra quote is...

5 HR 9 doubles but I'm sure many of them have been to the right side.

2nd and 3rd no outs you absolutely have to score at least 1.

oh yeah, definitely. Bernstein is not afraid to ask tough questions.

I've listened to Holmes interview Hahn before and he tends to take it easy on him. One time someone asked him why he doesn't ask tough questions and he said that it's harder to book management when you do that, which really sucks. Taking heat in a season like this one should be part of Hahn's job description.

it's weird because he's the one guy who the extreme oppo approach works for and he goes away from it at the worst time

i saw bo bichette hit a grand slam

ive seen anderson hit into 3 double plays with bases loaded

think the voters have it right

Kinda like Rod Carew

I've never seen a team turtle under pressure like this. You'd think the pressure would be on the other team with the bases loaded, but not when the Sox are involved.

Worst situational hitting team I can remember

Didn’t think it would matter but it sure as hell looked like fielders interference when Yoan was running on Leury’s double

Bo Bichette's nickname should be "The Bounty Hunter" because his name sounds like Boba Fett.

After that, you just know the Sox bullpen, defense or TLR will threaten to clutch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Is Bichette's OBP over .300 yet?

This!

I just don't understand the approach and how it changes. He also swung at ball 2 which was well out of the zone.
