Hopefully they haven't used up their run production for the week.

I think the Sox have issues with the batters eye in the first hour of the game. They've hit so much better after the 5th in both of these games.

I honestly wonder if him warming up makes him unavailable for tomorrow as is.

Yep, it's the Indians meltdown game all over.   Guy warms up and then the Sox put up a 5 spot. 

If he's warm, then you have to use him.  That's just the way it's always been explained to me. 

 

Well that was a fun inning until the dreaded bases loaded.  Great to see Yoan make good contact.

the history of baseball would show stats like this inevitably regress, but uh... we're still waiting for any signs of that happening

Seems like it. That's what happens when you go on into a tailspin for a week.  Not enough work for "A" bullpen.

Maybe this is an out there opinion, but I think he'll play more games at 1B over the rest of his career than LF.
